After doing diligent research and searching, I settled on using Paige at SPLP to move my car from a very distant and tucked away corner up in Wisconsin all the way down to south Texas.

I was apprehensive to begin with because it’s “MY” new car that will be loaded, strapped down, covered, closed up and hauled over hundreds of miles! Yes, it’s an expensive, sports car, one of a kind and all that mess, bla bla bla, but THAT doesn’t matter. That doesn’t matter to you who is reading this, it doesn’t matter to the shipper or to anyone else how awesome “my” car is. These car transport services ship and transport all kinds of exotic, high dollar, one-of-a-kind cars every single day! That’s what they do.

When I first called Paige, the number one key difference that stood out to me immediately, was that she was concerned about “MY” car! It was the personal attention and the overwhelming concern for “my” car and “my” situation that really grabbed me. The car is attached to me and she was concerned about ME. THAT spoke volumes to me… and is something that in today’s fast-paced, instant gratification world is fading away. Because it’s a nice car, Paige would NOT move the car any other way but covered and with x,y,z special attention. That was just how it was, she would not allow anything less. She had my very best interest at heart and it was NOT a ploy for a more lucrative business deal. No. This was her integrity in her business and having my best interests up front.

Paige quoted me what I considered a very fair price for a solid, contracted, safe and desirable move for the car. This quote was done in August of 2018. The purchase of the car took place at end of Oct 2018. When I contacted Paige to move forward with the transport. There were some challenges due to SEMA that week tying up a lot of carriers, a not so desirable route being way up north AND that time of year for weather. Despite all of this, Paige honored her quote back in August, stuck to it, and went to work to make the move happen.

To coordinate moving a vehicle there are a lot of moving parts involved! A truck, type of truck, driver, driving reputation, communication, driver reviews, driver shipping experience, equipment, time, weather, and all kinds of things! Paige would NOT settle for less here, so it took a few days once she posted it. The job got picked up, and she went through all of the driver variables with a fine-tooth comb to include pictures, videos etc, to ensure “my” car was in the BEST hands she could possibly put it in! It was!

We had a pick-up date and a delivery date. Paige stayed in touch with me via personal text throughout the move all the way to delivery. The car was delivered on time, when it was supposed to be. The driver was very professional and very nice and extremely careful during the unload. Almost too careful as I was excited to see my car! I just wanted it OUT of that trailer! Ha!

I have heard a lot of stories around people having cars shipped and most of them are not that good. My story and my experience with shipping my car with Paige at SPLP was truly a great experience. It was professional, seamless, smooth and very rewarding at the end when my new car was backed out of the trailer and put in my driveway with absolutely NOTHING wrong with it in any way!

I know this is long, but it is a deserving story that really should be told and shared!
